CEZ Trade Bulgaria EAD is a company founded in 2005, of granted a licence for electricity trade on the liberalized market, issued by the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (SEWRC) with Decision № Л-191-15 from 04 July 2005. The licence gives the company the right to render services, related to the purchase and sale of electricity on the free energy market.

The company is registered for wholesale trade in conformity with the requirements of ETSO.The granted EIC code gives the opportunity to participate in the trans-border market of electric power.

CEZ Trade Bulgaria EAD is 100% property of CEZ a.s. Czech Republic.

Scope of activity

The main activity of the company is in the field of wholesale trade of electricity (import, export, transit, participation in trans-border capacity tenders) and sale of electricity to eligible customers (big business and industrial customers).
