CEZ Laboratories Bulgaria EOOD was established in 2006 and is equipped with standards, devices, premises, qualified experts, developed quality management system and is the “third independent party”, in conformity with the requirements of the Metrology Act. The company’s Laboratory for Examination of Electricity Meters is authorized with order № A-0-015/07.03.2008 of the Head of the State Metrology and Technical Supervision Agency (SMTSA) to perform initial and subsequent checking of electricity meters.

CEZ Laboratories Bulgaria EOOD is 100% property of CEZ a.s. Czech Republic and provides for 36 work positions.

Scope of activity

CEZ Laboratories Bulgaria EOOD guarantees for the conformity with the legal acts and provisions in force in the Republic of Bulgaria, as regards metering devices subject to metrology control, carries out examinations and providesits potential customers with high quality service. The Laboratory for Examination of Electricity Meters performs initial and subsequent checking of electricity meters within its scope of activity and powers and in conformity with the methods, approved by the SMTSA. The company registers, examines, sets parameters of electricity meters and tariff switch timers and executes logistic activities.
